Rey Mysterio, a wrestling legend, has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with his son, Dominik Mysterio, in recent years. The two have been at war with each other, with Dominik betraying his father to join the Judgment Day. Despite this, when asked to choose a team for Survivor Series, Rey Mysterio surprisingly chose his son, as well as another legend, Andre the Giant.

In an interview with WWE, Rey Mysterio revealed his dream team, citing Bret Hart as his first pick. He praised Hart’s skills, stating, “My first pick would be Bret Hart, only because he is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.” He chose Andre the Giant as his second pick, explaining that despite their size difference, it would work in his favor. “I need the biggest one on the team. Powerhouse,” he said.

Mysterio’s third pick was former ally-turned-rival, Batista. He acknowledged that Batista’s departure from his corner was a dark time in his life, stating, “It was some of the darkest time of my life.” However, he believes that Batista would bring the power and muscle needed to get the job done.

Mysterio also revealed that he would consider having his son, Dominik Mysterio, on his team. He acknowledged that Dominik would be useful in taking the fall, stating, “If we needed someone to take the fall, it would be Dirty Dom. It would be the mystery team.” Mysterio referred to Dominik as the “Dirtiest Player in the Game,” a term typically associated with Ric Flair. However, Mysterio’s motivations differ from Flair’s, as he aims to use his son’s underhanded tactics to his advantage.

Despite the tumultuous relationship between Rey and Dominik Mysterio, it is surprising that Rey Mysterio considers his son as a viable option for his Survivor Series team. The question remains whether Dominik would be willing to put aside his differences and work with his father, or if he would choose to prioritize his allegiance to Judgment Day.

The inclusion of Andre the Giant, Bret Hart, and Batista adds a level of prestige and unpredictability to Mysterio’s team. The chemistry between these legends could result in a formidable force, with each member bringing their unique skills and strengths to the table. Whether or not Mysterio’s team would be successful remains to be seen, but it is undeniable that this dream team would be a force to be reckoned with.

Rey Mysterio’s unexpected picks for his Survivor Series team have sparked interest and debate among wrestling fans. While some may see it as a noble gesture to include his son, others may view it as a desperate attempt to win his approval. Regardless, Mysterio’s dream team is a testament to the complexities of professional wrestling, where friendship, loyalty, and betrayal can all play a crucial role in the outcome.
