Braun Strowman, a former Universal Champion in the WWE, has announced his appearance at an upcoming independent wrestling event, Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl. The Monster of All Monsters has been off television for several months, but he remains a part of the Stamford-based company. Strowman’s last televised match took place on the September 30 episode of WWE RAW, where he was involved in a feud with Bronson Reed.

Strowman will be making a special appearance at Blizzard Brawl, where he will be serving as the special guest referee for a high-profile match featuring Al Snow, Kal Herro, Santino Marella, and Damien Sandow. The WWE superstar took to Twitter to announce his involvement in the event, expressing his excitement and saying that all proceeds from his appearance will be donated to charity.

“I’m super excited for this weekend, all proceeds I do at this event will be donated to charity. Helping to fix the dam in Neosho, WI, and to build a new playground at Honor Elementary. See you soon, Wisconsin!!!” Strowman tweeted. Despite being off television, Strowman remains a beloved figure in professional wrestling, and his charity work is a testament to his commitment to giving back to his community.

In recent interviews, Strowman has spoken about his memorable matches, including his two-minute squash of Goldberg at WrestleMania 36. The Monster of All Monsters recalled the significance of that match, saying it meant the world to him because Goldberg had wanted him to be the one to pass the torch.

Strowman’s appearance at Blizzard Brawl is a rare opportunity for fans to catch a glimpse of the former Universal Champion outside of the WWE. As a special guest referee, he will bring a level of excitement and unpredictability to the event, and his charity work ensures that the impact of his appearance will be felt long after the bell has rung.
