Dominik Mysterio, the 27-year-old WWE superstar, might be on the verge of leaving The Judgment Day, a faction he has been a part of for a while. The tension between Mysterio and his fellow Judgment Day member, Finn Balor, has been growing, and it seems like their chemistry is starting to deteriorate.

According to recent reports, Mysterio might not only quit The Judgment Day but also switch brands and join a heel group on SmackDown. The group in question is A-Town Down Under, consisting of Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Waller has been pitching the idea of Mysterio joining him and Theory on the Friday Night show, calling Judgment Day “emo flops.”

In an interview with Going Ringside, Waller expressed his admiration for Mysterio, stating that he loves working with the 27-year-old and that they would have a great time together. “Oh, Dominik’s a sick lad. I love Dom. You know, if Dom was on SmackDown, I think he’d drop those emo flops [Judgment Day] and come hang out with me and Theory. We’d have a good time,” said Waller.

However, it’s not just Waller and Theory who have expressed interest in Mysterio joining their group. There have also been rumors that Mysterio might align with his father, Rey Mysterio, once again to take down Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. The two have had a complicated history, with Mysterio betraying his father in 2022 by turning heel and joining The Judgment Day.

Rey Mysterio recently opened up about the possibility of teaming up with his son again, stating that it would be hard for him to reconcile with Dom. “Hopefully one day Dom can see the bright side of being on the Mysterio side and being family overall, but I think that’s gonna be very hard,” he said.

Another possibility is that Mysterio leaves The Judgment Day and pursues a singles run, feuding with Finn Balor and competing for the singles title. Turning babyface would also help Mysterio in his merch sales and might propel him to become a star like Jey Uso.

At this point, it’s unclear what path Mysterio will take, but one thing is certain – his future in The Judgment Day is uncertain. With all these options on the table, it remains to be seen what direction Mysterio will take and what the future holds for this talented WWE superstar.
