Vince Russo, the former WWE head writer, recently discussed a potential tag team match for WrestleMania 41 featuring the Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, on one team. The idea was sparked by a recent boxing match between Jake Paul and “Iron” Mike Tyson, in which Tyson requested a battle with Logan Paul after the match. Since then, there have been reports indicating that the WWE is interested in securing Mike Tyson’s services for WrestleMania 41.

On his podcast “Writing with Russo,” the veteran wrestling personality detailed a fantasy scenario in which the Paul brothers would team up against Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin. According to Russo, Stone Cold would be open to returning to the WWE if Mike Tyson was involved. This, he explained, would be a good deal for Austin, as the Texas Rattlesnake is known to be an astute businessman who would benefit from the opportunity.

Russo believes that involving the Paul brothers in the feud would add significant attention to the match, and that Steve Austin would be eager to take advantage of the situation. “Austin is all about money, Austin is all about PR,” Russo explained. “Logan Paul and Jake Paul, that would be huge for Austin…He would benefit from that in so many ways. He would jump at the opportunity.” Russo’s comments suggest that the Paul brothers’ involvement would be a key factor in convincing Austin to return to the WWE.

The potential match would not be the first time that Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin have been involved in a storyline together. In 1998, they clashed in a memorable feud leading up to WrestleMania 14. Tyson served as the Special Guest Enforcer for Stone Cold’s match against Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship, and ultimately counted to three, awarding the title to Austin.

The idea of Tyson and Austin teaming up to take on the Paul brothers at WrestleMania 41 is an intriguing one, and could potentially lead to a memorable match. With the WWE’s history of creating buzzworthy and unpredictable storylines, it’s possible that we could see this fantasy scenario become a reality.
