Tonight’s WWE NXT show was filled with exciting matches and a Hall of Famer appearance. The night kicked off with a big qualifier match for Deadline, as Wren Sinclair faced off against Cora Jade, Jaida Parker, and Kelani Jordan. The match saw Jordan dominate early on, but Jade and Parker soon got some big moves in. However, Wren took a Falcon Arrow from Parker, but Jordan broke the pin. Jade took a Tower of Doom spot before Lola Vice showed up and hit a cheap shot on Jaida, costing her the match. Wren fell on top of Jade, who wasn’t able to move away, picking up the win.
After the match, Jaida demanded an NXT Underground match against Lola Vice, which Ava set up for Deadline. The two superstars had a heated exchange, with Vice hitting Jaida before the show moved on.
The next match was the NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal, which saw No Quarter Catch Crew emerge victorious. The battle royal saw several superstars eliminated, including Tyson Dupont, Luca Crusifino, and Hank Walker. In the end, Tank Legder, Lucien Price, and Myles Borne remained, with Borne emerging as the winner.
Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff made an appearance, praising the level of talent on the show, reminding him of the WCW Monday Nitro days. Bischoff hyped the title match between Trick Williams and Ridge Holland, who showed up and began arguing. The two superstars eventually brawled to the ringside, with Ridge clearing the announce desk and slamming Trick on it with a DDT. Trick had to be taken to a hospital, with the broadcast team promising updates on his condition.
The show also saw Karmen Petrovic facing off against Nikkita Lyons, with Petrovic emerging victorious thanks to a distraction from Ashante “Thee” Adonis. Petraio then got a big series of kicks for the win.
Gigi Dolin made her return to NXT, facing off against Izzi Dame and coming out on top with the Gigi Driver. Shawn Spear was also seen at ringside, watching Gigi with interest.
The show also featured X-Pac hyping up Je’Von Evans for the Iron Survivor match, as well as a match between Axiom, Cedric Alexander, Eddy Thorpe, and Lexis King, which saw Thorpe emerge victorious.
