Mark Henry, WWE Hall of Famer, recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming Men’s WarGames Match between the OG Bloodline and the new Bloodline. The match is set to take place at WWE Survivor Series on November 30. Henry’s comments came during an interview on the Busted Open podcast, where he expressed his opinion on the potential involvement of a two-time former WWE Champion, Seth Rollins, in the match.
Henry mentioned that Rollins had initially declined to join the WarGames Match, stating that he had no problems with the other members of the OG Bloodline. However, with Rollins’ enemies now part of the match, including Bronson Reed on the side of the new Bloodline and CM Punk with the OG Bloodline, Henry did not rule out the possibility of Rollins getting involved. However, he also disclosed that he did not want to see this scenario come to fruition.
Henry stated, “No, I don’t [want to see Seth Rollins get involved]. I don’t. I agree he had his opportunity, he had his opportunity and he chose to not be involved. He said that he didn’t wanna be involved, which fits right in line with pro wrestling, say one thing, do another. So, maybe we will see him get involved and mess it up for somebody and help somebody else out at the same time.” This statement implies that Henry believes Rollins might indeed get involved in the match, maybe even causing chaos and altering the outcome.
Further fueling speculation about Rollins’ potential involvement is the comments of Vince Russo, a former WWE head writer, who spoke on BroDown about the addition of CM Punk to the OG Bloodline. Russo claimed that Punk joining the team hurt Rollins, stating that it made no sense storyline-wise. He argued that Punk joining the team buried Rollins and ruined his chances of being part of the match.
Russo’s comments are interesting, as they suggest that Punk’s addition to the OG Bloodline might have been a strategic move to weaken Rollins and further solidify the OG Bloodline’s position in the match. This would imply that Rollins’ involvement in the match might be designed to create a sense of chaos and unpredictability.
It remains to be seen whether Rollins will indeed get involved in the match and alter the outcome. The anticipation for the WarGames Match is building, and fans are eagerly awaiting the results of this high-stakes match. Will Rollins change the course of the match, or will the OG Bloodline and the new Bloodline clash without any interference? Only time will tell.
