The legendary WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg, may have narrowed down his focus on his final target in the Stamford-based promotion after meeting and praising NXT’s Bron Breakker. Breakker, a 28-year-old wrestling sensation, bears a striking resemblance to Goldberg, with his aggressive in-ring style and explosive physicality. The duo are not related by blood, but Breakker’s in-ring style is eerily reminiscent of Goldberg’s, leading many to refer to him as the modern-day Goldberg.

Goldberg, who is 59 years old, has hinted at possibly stepping into the ring one last time to challenge Breakker, potentially at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. In a move that would mirror one of his most memorable feuds, Goldberg could make a surprise appearance during Breakker’s Intercontinental Title match, spear him and cost him the gold. Such a maneuver would set the stage for a feud between the two at WrestleMania 41, where Breakker could possibly emerge victorious and permanently retire the WWE legend.

The meeting between Goldberg and Breakker didn’t happen in the WWE ring, but rather in a college football stadium, where the two athletic standouts who came from the NFL. Breakker, a former defensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens, has often spoken about his childhood admiration for Goldberg and has even replicated the WWE legend’s signature spear move as part of his own arsenal.

In an interview with Fightful Select, Goldberg praised Breakker, stating that he has been a huge success in WWE thus far due to his unique abilities and dedication to his craft. He noted that Breakker shines in areas where others don’t, has physicality, and a great head on his shoulders. These remarks have left some to wonder if Goldberg might be setting the stage for a last hurrah with Breakker, working alongside the young talent before finally hanging up his boots.

The WWE universe would be thrilled to witness the 59-year-old legend make a surprise appearance at Survivor Series: WarGames, either to take on Breakker or to plant seeds for a future feud. With the recent tease of a rivalry between Goldberg and Gunther at WWE’s Bad Blood PLE, it’s uncertain whether Breakker will be the target of Goldberg’s attentions. However, given their shared athletic backgrounds and mutual respect, a clash between the two seems well within of possibility.
